Our Mission:

to foster goodwill between LGBTQ+ members of the Democratic Party, its allies, and the community at large.

We seek:

• Accountable, transparent leadership
• Individual freedom within a just society
• Political freedom through meaningful civic participation
• Regional representation across our counties

Our Objectives

Consistent with Article II of our Bylaws, our objectives are to:

Advocate issues without discrimination based on race, color, creed, gender, sex, age, religion, economic status, ethnic identity, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity and expression

Stimulate active interest in political and governmental affairs

Strengthen and further the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party

Promote Democratic participation in national, state, and local campaigns

Educate the public on the qualifications and positions of duly selected Democratic nominees

Promote fellowship and camaraderie among Democrats

Encourage voter registration and vote-by-mail participation

Our Identity

The Treasure Coast LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus is a chartered Democratic organization serving Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties.

We operate in alignment with:

• Our adopted Chapter Bylaws
• The Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus
• The Florida Democratic Party
• Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised
