Energized. organized. unstoppable.
This isn’t just another weekend gathering.
It’s where strategy meets solidarity.
Across Florida, our communities are organizing, defending our rights, electing leaders, and building power at every level. This summer, we come together to sharpen our skills, strengthen our networks, and move forward with clarity and courage.
The 2026 Summer Conference is designed for organizers, candidates, activists, caucus leaders, allies, and everyday Democrats who are ready to turn momentum into measurable wins.
If you believe in building durable power, protecting our freedoms, and showing up for each other when it matters most, this room is for you.
Why You Need to Be Here
Because change doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens when engaged people get organized.
Over three dynamic days, you’ll experience:
- High-impact panels with state and local leaders
- Dynamic guest speakers
- Policy conversations that move beyond headlines
- Networking with LGBTQ+ Democrats from across Florida
- Key endorsement votes from members for the 2026 Primary
- Moments of joy, connection, and celebration
We are not gathering to react.
We are gathering to prepare.
Keynote Speaker: Representative Malcolm Kenyatta

Representative Kenyatta is a barrier-breaking public figure, becoming the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color and one of the youngest people elected to the Pennsylvania General Assembly in 2018. In 2022, he became the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color to seek a U.S. Senate seat in American history.
In April 2024, he made history again as the first openly LGBTQ+ person ever nominated for statewide office by a major political party in Pennsylvania when he became the Democratic nominee for Auditor General. In the general election, he earned nearly 3.1 million votes, the second-highest vote total for any Democrat on the ticket that year.
In February 2025 he was elected as Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee.
